With the awarding of a $2.3 million grant from the State, a
City of Reading commitment of nearly $1 million and grants from the Federal
government awarded through Hamilton County and by the US Environmental
Protection Agency the 10+ acre tract formerly known as the Nivison Weiskopf Box
and Glass factory became known as the expansion of the Reading Life Sciences
Complex.
Immediately adjacent to the
Nivison Weiskopf site is almost fifty acres upon which sits three life science
technology leaders, not just of Greater Cincinnati but of the world: Patheon Pharmaceuticals, Genome Research
Center and Girindus America. It is the
City’s goal to lure more life science and technology companies to Reading and the old box
and glass factory property is just the place for them.
- The City is now offering lots
for sale or lease to companies that will build new facilities and bring life
science oriented jobs to Reading.
- Contact Mark Fitzgerald, LSR
Consultants, LLC at 513-939-4917 or markfitzgerald@fuse.net for information about the property.
