Public health services for the City of Reading are now provided by the Hamilton County General Health District. For information about health services call the health district at 513-946-7800 or click on the Web site www.hamiltoncountyhealth.org

Immunization Program
The Hamilton County General Health District provides immunizations to all persons living within the health district.

Immunizations are administered the 2nd Wednesday of each month between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. in the Reading Council Chambers at 1000 Market Street.

Vaccines provided are DTaP, IPV, HIB, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B for children thru 19 years of age, TB skin test, adult Tetanus, as well as the flu vaccine which is available in the fall. Vaccines are provided free of charge but a $5.00 administrative fee is charged for each person. The Hepatitis B vaccine for adults is available at a cost of $25.00 per dose plus the $5.00 administrative fee. The Hepatitis A vaccine is also available at a cost of $20.00 per dose plus the $5.00 administrative fee. Lead testing for children 6 months to 6 years old is also provided.
