Senior Organizations The Reading Seniors' program was developed in 1991 to promote good will among Reading citizens who are fifty-five years of age or older and to address the social and recreational needs of these adults with leisure time during the day.
Members meet from 12:30 to 4 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Peter & Paul Church auditorium, 417 W. Vine St. Activities include a short business meeting, a catered luncheon, activities and socialization. Activities usually include bingo, card games or an occasional jigsaw puzzle.
On the third Tuesday of each month June through October, the Reading Seniors host dinner/theater bus trips to various locations around the tri-state area. Costs of the trips are minimal.
