Anthony (Tony) Gertz - Council Member, Ward 2
 Tony brings over 30 years of Reading civil service experience to his role as council member, including 12 years as mayor of Reading.
He is an attorney in private practice who graduated from Roger Bacon High School, Thomas More College and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. Tony is now working on a master's degree from the Athenaeum of Ohio.
In addition to serving the City of Reading as a council member, Tony participates in the American Legion, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and is an active member of the Saints Peter and Paul Parish.
He and his wife, Mary Jane, have five children, Susan, Karen, Anthony II, Tim and Debbie, and 10 grandchildren.
