Water Department
Residents and businesses receive a combined water, sewage, and garbage bill quarterly. Larger users are billed monthly. Bills are payable on or before the 16th of the month and can be either mailed, paid at the Reading Municipal Building, or there is a night depository at the Municipal Building located at the north corner of the parking lot at Market and Pike St. We accept cash, check, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, or you can set up for ACH payment (Call the office to receive the paperwork to have the ACH payments taken directly out of your checking account). There is a 10 percent late charge on water and sewer bills.
