NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Section 715.72 of the Ohio Revised Code, notice is hereby given that a public hearing concerning the creation of a joint economic development district (the “JEDD”) by the City of Reading (the “City”) pursuant to a contract (the “JEDD Contract”) to be entered into among the City, and Township of Sycamore, all in Hamilton County, Ohio, will be held by the City Council of the City at 7:30 o'clock p.m. on the 20th day, October, 2026 at City Hall in Council Chambers, 1000 Market Street, Reading, Ohio. At such time and place a hearing allowing for public comment and recommendations on the JEDD Contract and the JEDD will be allowed by the City Council to all interested parties.

A copy the JEDD Contract, a description of the area or areas to be included in the JEDD, including a map in sufficient detail to denote the specific boundaries of such area or areas and to indicate any zoning restrictions applicable to such area or areas, and an economic development plan for the JEDD that consists of a schedule for the provision of new, expanded or additional services in the JEDD and a schedule for the collection of an income tax levied under division (F)(5) of Section 715.72 of the Ohio Revised Code, are on file at City Hall with the City Clerk or Safety Service Director, at The City Building, 1000 Market Street, Reading, Ohio 45215, and available for public inspection. The documents can also be found on the city of Reading website at www.readingohio.org
