TAKE OUT TO STEP UP AND HELP LOCAL BUSINESS

As small businesses in Reading and across the country struggle to survive the financial aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic they are trying desperately to keep their doors open. One local restaurant reported an 87% decline in sales since Governor DeWine made the difficult but necessary decision to close restaurants for dine-in service. Another local restaurant reported only $46 in sales in a single day.

The good news is that restaurant carry-out is still permitted and everyone still needs to eat!  So please……”Take Out To Step Up!” Below is a list of Reading restaurants/groceries that are providing take-out food:

Naturally our first concern is for the safety of our citizens. Our restaurants share this concern and have put into practice social distancing and other health policies to abide by the CDC regulations. Be sure to call or check online to confirm the restaurant is currently offering take-out service and their hours of operation.

Reading has always been a close-knit community that “takes care of its own”. Our local businesses put great effort into serving you-now let’s step up and make an effort to help them.

Please see this helpful map as well showing the locations of our food establishments.
