City hiring Crossing Guard for Reading & Mechanic Sts.

The City of Reading currently has openings for the position of Crossing Guard at the intersection of Reading & Mechanic. This position is part-time (at-will employee), and is great for retirees or homemakers. Guards are assigned a crossing location and are required to be at that post before and after school, on all days that school is in session. All equipment is supplied by the City.

Applicants will undergo a background check. Pay for the position is $146.00 bi-weekly. An application can be downloaded below or obtained at the general offices at city hall. The position is open until filled.
