At the May 19th City Council meeting, the ODOT “Road Diet” project was discussed. ODOT’s most up to date plans, including alternate plans for the Gahl Terrace area can be seen in the images or PDF attached.

In the meantime, the Administration has been exploring all options and alternative approaches, including implementing only selected elements of the project, such as raised crosswalks. The Reading Road corridor also requires significant water and other underground infrastructure work before paving can begin.

Councilman Bronner asked residents to share their support or opposition to the Road Diet project, noting that the exact final proposal has not yet been approved. This survey will assist council in measuring current public opinion.  Thank you for taking your time to respond.
